VENUS Williams has been dubbed the Lady GaGa of tennis by the British press!

The sexy star and American No4 has been criticized for wearing “one of the worst dresses ever” at a Grand Slam.

Williams seed designs her own frocks and owns her own fashion company, EleVen.

But the outfit she rocked in her three set win over Czech Sandra Zahlavova on the Rod Laver Court has been roundly mocked by British newspaper The Sun.

“It looks like a cheese and onion pasty,” said one pundit. “From a distance it even resembled the shocking yellow Arsenal away kit of the 90′s.”

Venus recently said that fashion choices in tennis are “conservative or conservative.”

“There’s times where I’ve designed things and the back is just too low or the fabric was too hot or I’ve altered [a piece] to give it more support,” she said.

“I don’t think I’ve worn anything that was so bad, it’s been like ‘ugh.’ “
