IMO – The games will continue on and off throughout 2011 and into 2012 and the $$$ machine will keep on rolling just from the stir that this game creates (just like the previous years) Summit, R and K are banking on it (now much more obviously from their refinancing blurbs.) In the end, they will continue to appeal to their demographic that will go and watch the T movies. That is not me, so my opinion on all of this is irrelevant to their “powers that be”. Actors are always given a second chance, much more so than any other group of people. He will emerge from this after BD 2. If he has another role, most people will welcome him with open arms and the $$$ will roll again. For him, he has nothing to lose with this charade and so it will continue. JMO.

I have to agree with what you have both been saying. Summit can take some of the blame, but both Rob and Bitchface have to take their fair share of it too. In my opinion Summit will release a few other pictures till March and then Fox will take over. I know that one of the reasons BA has had so many premier dates is that it’s owners are expecting to see how WFE works out… Rob’s career is on the line….

After what happened in the past year I don’t see the same enthusiasm to support this. They might go watch it but not as many times as RM.

This theory which Ted from eonline has hammered for 2 years into publics’ heads about Summit being worried if they get outed as a real couple defies logic. Summit has done everything to insinuate a relationship since they both lack real chemistry on screen and their audiance only cares about that.

Convincing them of a real relationship is the best way to cheaply promote the Saga, keep it over years in the media, keep the actors in the closet and divert attention from an on-screen couple that can’t fake the love on which the entire story is based.

The only thing studios fear is having their actors outed as gay.
