MARK Ruffalo has signed up to play a sex addict in the upcoming film Thanks For Sharing.
The actor — who most recently starred in The Kids Are All Right opposite Annette Bening and Julianne Moore — will play one of three recovering sex addicts, according to The Film Stage.
The movie is by Stuart Blumberg, the screenwriter behind The Kids Are All Right. He has previously served as a writer on the TV series MADtv. He also wrote the screenplays for Keeping The Faith, starring Ben Stiller and Edward Norton, and The Girl Next Door, featuring Elisha Cuthbert and Emile Hirsch.
Ruffalo will reportedly film his role as the Hulk in The Avengers during the first half of the year. He is then expected to shoot Thanks For Sharing in the second half of 2011.
The casting of the other two recovering sex addicts is yet to be announced.
