Charlize TheronCHARLIZE Theron has been getting cozy with Sean Penn!

The actress — who split from longtime love Stuart Townsend last year — has apparently been secretly dating the recently-divorced Milk star.

Theron and Penn were seen hugging and kissing during a late night party at the Chateau Marmont garden in Hollywood.

“Sean and Charlize have been good friends for years. But now that neither is in a relationship, their friendship has blossomed into full-blown romance,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“They aren’t ready to go totally public yet, but are spending lots of private time together!”
