MARION Cotillard is joining the cast of The Dark Knight Rises.

The Oscar winning actress joins fellow new addition, Anne Hathaway, who has signed up to play femme fatale Catwoman. Marion’s role is currently unknown.

Cotillard — who’s currently pregnant with her first child — made the deal in Paris last weekend.

The sexy star is due in April, with the film set to start filming in June. It will see its release in July 2012.

Cotillard starred in director Christopher Nolan‘s last movie, Inception, alongside Joseph Gordon Levitt, who has also landed a role in The Dark Knight Rises.
