VANESSA Hudgens piled on the pounds while shooting her new movie Sucker Punch – because she kept comfort eating!

The High School Musical star — who plays the character of Blondie in the fantasy flick — says making the movie was much tougher than she expected.

“Some of the scenes were really intense. I haven’t done that much heavy drama before and some scenes were just so draining.

“We would all be a total disaster afterward and cheat on our diets together and eat cake to comfort ourselves.

“My character was a lot of fun. I really get to step up my game and be a total badass.”

Hudgens recently revealed she wants to work with Quentin Tarantino.

The actress says she bumped into the Kill Bill director at Madonna‘s Oscars party last year and told him she thinks the pair should make a movie together.

“After the Oscars we were at Madonna’s party,” Hudgens recalled.

“Quentin Tarantino was there, and I was talking to him for a while, probably after a few drinks, and I told him, ‘We’ve gotta do something together.’ And he was like, ‘I would love to. That would be really great.’ So it’s been put out there.

“Slowly, I’ve gained balls. I used to be very shy.”
