Miley Cyrus Nixed Billy Ray’s Appearance on The View

Miley CyrusMILEY Cyrus made her father Billy Ray cancel his scheduled appearance on US TV show The View.

The Hannah Montana star is furious that the country music crooner has been speaking about her interviews, so is trying to stop him from doing anymore damage — sources say.

“When Miley found out her father was scheduled to appear on The View on Wednesday she went nuts,” a pal told the PopEater website.

“Only last week, Billy shot his mouth off in GQ, and now he planned to sit down with Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg and talk more crap about his family. No way would Miley or her team let that happen.”

Billy recently told GQ that he feels isolated from his daughter, blaming everyone but himself.

“I’m scared for her,” he said in the interview. “She’s got a lot of people around her that’s putting her in a great deal of danger. I want to get her sheltered from the storm.”

“At first Miley defended her dad, wanting to believe he had been tricked into saying bad things by the magazine,” the source added. “Miley truly wanted to give her father the benefit of the doubt, goodness knows she’s said things she wishes she could take back. But after she found out about his media trip to New York, no more excuses could be made.”

    Who the hell is she to stop his appearances. She is his daughter but he is just as famous as she is. She got her start because of him and his wonderful talent. She and her people better open their eyes. She needs to grow up and realize he is her dad first not her buddy. If he can’t seem to speak with her directly about it then he needs to use what avenues he has.     Honestly she’s doing way too much. I mean back in early Hannah Montana days she was cool. And i understand everyone has to grow up but, that doesnt mean she has to do it the way she has been. Its sad. And on her fashion yeah its ok to have your on style and to show skin but again doing too much tone it done. Your not 21 act your freaking age.

    l think you’ll find,if you do ur homework,billy ray earned his living on the back of miley,not the other way round.Miley got the part of Hannah Montana,through miley’s hard work,Talent & determination,& going after her dream,helped by her loving mom Tish,who tirelessly took her backwards & forwards to Disney.Then once established,they needed someone to play her father,in the show,enter Billy Ray,somewhat reluctantly,at first,because he didn’t want ppl thinking the same way ur thinking,that miley got the part purely because of her dad,which is a total load of tosh.l noticed however,he didn’t complain while he was earning money from disney.l think this all stems back to the fact,that Billy can’t handle how successful miley is,up against him,proffessional jealousy l guess.But really what should matter,after all said & done,is not all the money or the fame,but the family.Thats what Billy should be caring about.lnstead of travelling all over america,he should be at home with his family.lf l had a family like his,which l class,as a gift from god,l would treasure them.not hide away in Tennessee.You’re the dad billy,act like it,instead of a spoilt brat.

    Miley is a spoiled lil’ slut who needs a good swift kick in her cunny. Unfortunately, Billy Ray traded in his manhood for a large bank account years ago. If he could get his pair back, he would do well to kick the living shit out of Miley’s people and handlers and establish just who is boss. Those Hollywood entertainment faggots need to be slapped around and ass-whupped and Billy would best be served in doing so.

      Well, Cletus, Miley is 18 and that makes HER the boss. If he did what you suggest, he’d end up in jail. If he’s going to try and advocate for his daughter, he needs to try and do it with a little class.

    The article never specifies how she could stop him from going on the view. She is not all mighty like say Oprah Winfrey who could stop an interview easily. He has been through this experiance with Miley and her antics are well documented. Theres no reason, if he wanted to, he couldnt go on the view. Maybe he just has sensitive ears and didn’t want to be around the horrible Joy Behar. Lol you know its on around breakfast time maybe he didnt want to lose his. HAHAHA!!!

      Mandy – SOOOOOOOOOO true. I was just thinking what you wrote. Miley can’t “make” or “stop” anyone from doing anything. What’s she going to do – send him to his room without dessert if he doesn’t obey her?? Come on, now. Billy Ray is a one hit wonder, but Miley has NEVER been as self important as she thinks she is. She thinks drinking and doing other substances makes her look grown up, when all it does is make her look stupid. She’s screaming, “look at me! Look at me! I’m drinking now. I’m dressing and acting slutty now. See how grown up I am??.” Puhleeeez!

      Also, I really do get that she’s outgrown her Hannah Montana character, but she’s setting out to “prove” it in very unwise ways. If she wants people to believe that she’s grown up, then she has to actually act like a grown up, and show better judgement.
