Vanessa Hudgens Reveals Why She Chopped Her Hair!

The actress claims her career is taking an exciting new direction now she has hacked off her long locks.

“I chopped it all off because it felt like the right thing to do,” she said.

“I feel like now is a very transitional time for me. The two movies I have coming out are very different and a big change for me and the hair is all part of that.”

Meanwhile, Hudgens — who recently split from longtime love Zac Efron — reportedly looked “smitten” last week with her Journey 2: Mysterious Island costar Josh Hutcherson at an L.A. after-party for the premiere of her latest flick, Beastly.

“Their arms were wrapped around each other and they were really touchy together,” a source told People magazine.

“They were very cute.”

    you some how i can’t seem to understand why reporters make such a big deal out of small things like getting a hair cut… really? its not that short and besides if vanessa want a new look every now and then what does that seperate her from any other normal girl? give people a break sometimes cause we all are human. besides i like her hair anyway she gets it, it fits her.
