Julianne Moore: Sarah Palin Role For Actress Julianne Moore!

JULIANNE Moore has been cast to play former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin.

The actress will star in HBO’s upcoming movie, Game Change, based on John Heilemann and Mark Halperin‘s bestseller of the same name

The movie will reportedly focus on the breadth of the 2008 presidential campaign mounted by John McCain in which Palin was the candidate for vice president.

Casting has not been completed for other roles such as McCain or Barack Obama.

Meanwhile, Moore — who has two kids, Caleb, 13, and eight-year-old Liv, with her husband Bart Freundlich — has admitted she feels sexiest when she is away from her children.

“I think [to feel sexy,] you need to be away from your children,” she said. “Doing the mommy stuff does sort of squash that area of your life.

“The day-to-day of picking up kids and going to the eye doctor and then dropping them off at basketball and then going to the middle school concert doesn’t make you feel very sexy.

“I feel sexiest when I’m alone with Bart or when we take a trip.”

    Moore is 50 and Palin is 47. Not that big of an age gap.

    I am surprised that they didn’t go with Tina Fey, no offense to J.M.
    I wonder if they did and she turned them down?

    Goodness what the heck age got to do with it? Acting is about playing different characters regardless of the ages. Now Julianne is a good actress and playing this role would be a heck of a challenge. Why? Because she got to play dumb, manipulative, soccer mom, mommie dearest, happy hunter, Gekko’s (Wall Street)greed is good role, quitter (Governor), ignorant (clueless about history), and hater.

    Tina Fey would have been good but she made her fame through SNL, 30 Rock and making fun of Sarah Palin. So we need to see somebody different playing Sarah for a change.
