Robert Pattinson Has no Time to Buy Food!

Robert PattinsonROBERT Pattinson doesn’t have time to buy food.

The 24-year-old star has little free time because he is in such high demand and he admits he hasn’t been to a supermarket for a while.

“I work seven days a week at the moment and so I kind of don’t do it. I don’t have time!” Rob replied when asked if he still does his own grocery shopping.

The Twilight actor’s sparse spare time is so precious to him he even looks forward to getting on a plane to travel from one place to the next.

“Airports are always difficult, especially in Los Angeles. LAX is hard but you just do all these crazy little things, like you get your plane ticket 20 minutes before the plane takes off. That’s really the only way to do it,” he said.

“I look forward to plane journeys. That’s how pathetic it is!”

When he does get some time away from work commitments, Robert relaxes by playing music, and he is determined to practise his skills more often.

“I still love playing music with people. I was in New Orleans the other day and I was playing with the band from New Orleans Salvation at the Preservation Hall,” he said.

“While I was playing piano, I thought, ‘Jesus, why don’t I do this anymore?’ It was amazing.”

    Mmmmm, sounds to me as if the “pity party” is playing in town again! And we all know he’s had a LOT of weekends off in the past few weeks because he’s ben seen getting on a flight to LA on a Friday and back to Vancouver on the Sunday evening. So how can he say he’s working 7 days a week?
    Stop trying to make everyone feel sorry for you. Take off your rose-coloured glasses and take a look at what NORMAL people are having to cope with, especially those in Japan. Me thinks he’s been spending too much time with Miss “I don’t give a fuck what people think”! He needs to get his arse back to the UK and STOP trying to be someone from the LA/HW set!

        Well, we can HOPE that he gets his arse back to the reality of the UK, but considering that after finishing BD, he starts promo for WFE, THEN goes straight into filming Cosmopolis, it doesn’t look as if THAT is going to happen.
        Personally, I think he likes the HW lifestyle way too much and is becoming out of touch with the REAL world. Sad but true! :sad:

      Well- he was asked about HIS life. He is a paid pretender, it’s not like he’s out there developing a cure for cancer! A million screwballs think they own him just because they bought a ticket to one of his movies. Can you imagine not being able to just go to a drugstore or into a mall because you want to pick out your own things, like normal? He has to depend on someone to get him food/clothes/make last minute travel preparations because people refuse to treat him like anyone else and leave him the Hell alone!

        R can pick whatever he wants to support – the cause you mention is another noble cause or how about something in England? there are so many causes out there – so much in need of help – a celeb brings raises awareness to these causes and brings in the big $$$$ making a HUGE difference to so many…

        for me – it seems simple – for those who can (some can’t), each needs to give a bit back to the extent that we can.. it was the way i was raised – i’ve said this quote before ‘to whom much is given, much is expected’ – it is a religious quote, but i think it embodies the spirit of the ‘global citizen’ that R claims he wishes to become.. just saying and imo… so R – if you are going to talk the talk, you had better start walking the walk…
        either that or just stop talking and smile – from what i read of your devoted fanbase, that seems to work best for a majority of them anyway.. just saying..

    YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING….He was answering a question honestly.. it didn’t sound like a “pitty party” and really is that all some of you see.. the negative in everything? No where in that message did he say he didn’t like what he was doing. He just implied he missed playing music with a group. He really didn’t sound like he missed grocery shopping at all. As far as the airport.. that is the way you do it for big stars like him to get away from the PAPS…those of you who DON’T live or work in LA.. have no idea .. .the PAPS litterally hang out at the airports sometimes just to get a glimpse of a actor or performer.. it’s stupid. And is far as the Hollywood life I sense some jealousy happening her ladies.. seriously.. I know for an actor it can be taxing living in HW because of the media.. but.. keep in mind Rob doesn’t hang out in HW when he is here… he’s mostly in Malibu, Venus.. sometimes even the Valley.. which are areas in LA County but not directly in HW. Many stars don’t live in HW they live in Beverly Hills or Malibu, the Palisades, etc.. Some live down south more in Orange County. I Live in a beach town in LA county and he could walk down the street here and no one would know. I think he is handling the pressures great… let’s not forget he had just as bad of a time in New York with the fans and PAPS… I just think that he realizes right now that is way life is for the moment and when all of this has blown over he could have more freedom for his music and other things. That’s what this article sounds like to me.

      We all know you think he’s a Saint who can do no wrong. As for the airports, they have something called VIP exits, so if he DIDN’T want to get papped he can use THOSE! And as for the grocery shopping, how the hell so celebs, and by celebs I mean REAL celebs do it in the UK? They go to their nearest SUPERMARKET and BUY their groceries. As I’ve said and will continue to say, IF he doesn’t like all the BS in HW, he should spend more time in the UK where nobody CARES who he is or what he does!
      Oh, and if we want to call him out on his whining and complaining when others are having more serious problem than NOT being able to go grocery shopping, then that’s our right for posting on a GOSSIP SITE!
      And no we are not jealous. Some of us can see what is happening in the REAL world and don’t think everything outside of LA is not worth bothering about.

        I waited outside the concert venue for ages in the cold after the show.. and she appeared for like a minute, waved to the crowd, then got on her tourbus and waved as she was driving out… so close to her,. yet so far lol… i was disappointed as id have loved a pic or autograph… but omg the screaming! my head and ears were so sore, not with the concert but with the girls outside!!!! And i just realised if i go to the WFE premier it will be a million times worse!!! ill need earplugs LMAO!!! But it would be worth it!!! :)

    Actually I’ve taken notice lately,Rob as quiet and reserved as he naturally is,has opened up some,and kinda gone on the defensive about his own guy issues,based on the new perception of what the girls here, and in the UK have of him.It seems to be a bit of a new perception of him,since those two mag articles came out.I think,just to a certain degree,he’s feeling this new found need to react to some guy issues,to let the female fans know,he’s just another 20 something guy,like everyone else!AND HE IS ,AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN.He’s always very humble,and reserved.Most hard working guys his age,find it difficult to find time to go to the grocery store,ect. ect.

        again Carlab you choose to ignore the fact that digs and issues have been made in comments and they have been made for a very long time – none of us on here know if comments that are made that look to us as being full of innocence actually mean something to the others (just an observation of course) – we would only have her word for that – it seems when big mouth wants to stop her ranting everyone should fall in line and forget all – it doesnt always work like that

My whole thing is why do you and the others keep bringing it up. I find it extremely immature. In regard to ranting.. frankly the only ranting I have seen on this site lately is attacks on Ashleigh. Maybe she shared too much in the past and it’s biting her in the ass now but really she wasn’t doing anything yesterday to deserve the attack. We were keeping on topic and other interesting topics then suddenly the ranting against her came out full force. Your anger towards her is your business… but my defense of her is not in what may have happened between you and she in the past or anyone else in the past… my defense of her is that she didn’t do any provoking here yesterday and it wasn’t appropriate for the others to say what they did. Its just wrong and cruel. IMO. I would say the same if it were someone else they were attacking too.. even if it was Ashleigh attacking you.. I would tell her the same thing. Bashing someone over their depression is horribly wrong. I think you have known my posts long enough to know that I would even defend you if I thought the other person was out of line.

        You are wrong carlab. If you will take a gander on up the board a bit to post #12 – you will CLEARLY see that no one was even speaking to Ashleigh. She showed up out of nowhere and SHE is the one who attacked us – for you. Then you disappeared and left her to it. So, if you didn’t want to get involved in the drama, I get that – but don’t deliberately lie and say that anyone attacked Ashliegh unprovoked, because you can clearly see that is NOT what happened.
