Reese Witherspoon Talks Robert Pattinson! Actress Reese Witherspoon Says Twilight Star is Dirty!

Reese WitherspoonREESE Witherspoon has lifted the lid on Robert Pattinson‘s grooming habits!

The actress — who recently married boyfriend Jim Toth — stars alongside Rob in new movie Water For Elephants.

“It’s a boy thing, right? To have dirty fingernails and hair,” Reese asked in a chat with Entertainment Weekly.

“And his clothes were dirty all the time.

“It was a nice escape for him to be tan and in the sun all the time instead of the vampire gear.”

Reese recently admitted she knows nothing about romance.

“I’m just old enough to know now that I know nothing,” Witherspoon said.

“Because I think when you are young you think you know everything and now I have just realized, you know, anything’s possible.”

Reese raises two children with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.

        I’m sorry – that’s just gross. No matter if he was around farm animals or not. And Carla, I’m not sure about the men in your area- but I can tell you that where I live that lack of hygiene would be unacceptable as it is disgusting. Heck – if he gave his head a good scrubbing whilst shampooing that would get rid of 90% of the dirt under the nails. And what’s with not even taking 3 minutes with the sharp end of a nail file for the rest. Sorry ladies – yes – he is gorgeous, but dirty fingernails are just nasty – no matter whose they are.

        don’t forget – it looks like Reese might also have called him a ‘know it all’ – so he didn’t need to care what others thought of his dirty clothes, hair and hands and as he wiped his snot in her wig while filming the love scene (that by his own admission in the mtv interview)…. yuck!..

        ? – I didn’t see that interview, but that is just ewwwww!~! And, why would he tell a story such as that?? Makes no sense. Is he trying to turn everyone off? The dirty rumors keep recirculating just as the rest of them.

        i agree – and notice Reese didn’t just say finger nails in the quote – she included hair and clothes…
        the snot in the wig was directly from R in his mtv interview. to me – totally gross – but to others probably a big turnon…

        I just can’t see that being a turnon at all – but you are right, I’m sure there are plenty that won’t have a problem with it. I just can’t see a man of his age talking of snot and farts etc. as he does. That seems strange to me. Do you believe he is really as immature as this – or that it is part of his public persona only?

        my guess, i think he was trying to be ‘cool’ but stay on task/script at the mtv interview – very different that the R that appeared on Leno imo..
        but just think about it… if those that are around you support this kind of behavior and tell you how great/funny you are – don’t you think that after awhile you would believe that everyone feels the same way?

        i hate to say it – and i will rely on the UK posters for their opinions on what they hear there – all of this combined (including the ‘know it all’ concept from Reese above) – points to a very immature, arrogant, tweenage boy who thinks they are the cat’s pjs. just saying… and i certainly know that there are posters here who think this totally ok and that is their opinion – no problem with that.. these are just my thoughts…

        that is why i think R needs to develop his public persona or just shut up and smile – one or the other…imo.

        ?- I totally agree about the public persona. guess he is bewtween a rock and a hard place. Still needing to keep the tweens on the line and wanting to develop an adult female fanbase as well. Possibly he wants the older female fans to see him as the adorable son type??? I don’t get it.
        But – one thing for sure is that this man does not put the sex symbol thing out there. Strange to me that isn’t being capitalized upon.

    so what, Rosie passed wind on reese and she was a trooper and finished the scene. rob was complimenting reese on her DEDICATION to finishing the scene and her proffesionalism. duh!

    rob fell off rosies back into a pool of mud. everyone laughed, got over it, proffessionals do, and got on with their work. i see no imaturity any where in his actions or hers.

      i read the book – if you watch mtv’s interview with R – it is pretty clear he never read the book, nor did he know what to say to the author – remember him gushing over the Twi author…

      the comment about the wig was from R – you can say it was him joking but idk – he said it in the mtv interview..

      w.r.t. Reese’s comments – just picking and choosing like the rest of the posters here for some fun at R’s expense

        but who knows.. he only mentioned reading the scripts – it just caught my attention…

        imo – R stumbled when asked about the WFE author and his conversations as well… it just highlights to me that R should quit with the Russian author thing – if he can’t read WFE – i’m pretty confident he isn’t reading anything by a russian author while learning french and the cello… i’m hoping this is his humor? but idk… to me it just goes to his credibility about his words – and that is important for me as a fan – not everyone believe me i know…

      It’s sour grapes over Robert Pattinson’s failure to be as “dreamy” and clean-cut as all his “mature fans” KNOW he can be.

      What is funny is that Pattinson has ALWAYS been a bit of a slob. His fans – even the “mature” ones used to think it was sort of cute – it certainly didn’t bother them. It’s only in the last year or two that it’s become a problem. Interesting…

    well – i have tried 2 new red wines this week… Roogle Red from Austrailia and Volteo (Cabernet Sauvignon) from Spain – yummy. i am usually not a fan of Cabernets, but this one was good imo…
