I figured I need to sign up next time and I sound like a cross between a dieing whale and a huge fart when I sing!! If she won they I should be a shoe in!! AND, I might ask, “Collard Greens and Cornbread” who the hell EVER came up with that title?? Sounds way to -l–k!!! Even Jennifer Lopez’s look and head bob was lacking – could not find the tempo or beat!!! Taylor looked as though he was ready to hurl! The only one that even showed the slightest appreciation, imagine that, was Randy!! AND – they asked her to give these Idol contestants advice??!*%^_!!!?? Boy I would have plugged my ears tight on that one!! Ryan Seacrest looked like a pencile compared to her size!! I would have loved to see our Country Boy’s, “Idol” Scotty’s expression as she was singing that horrific song? I noticed they stayed away from putting the camera on them during the performance! Last but not least, I am so very happy that I missed the entire season of “Fantasia’s” Idol show! If she was the best then my T.V would have never stood up to the others!! Who gave her that rediculous name??? I had nightmares all night long after that performance and even my wife said she could NOT see anything from this supposed IDOL!!! TERRIBLE PERFORMANCE – ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!

Boy I tell ya, some people are so ignorant. For those complaining about her “voice”, is call being a SOUL singer, I know it seems odd because you have a bunch of no talent pop singers on the radio making the same records over and over again. Also, if you don’t like her voice, then both Jacob Lusk and Casey Abrams need to be booted off AI immediately.

And I saw nothing ghetto about her actions on AI, in fact that’s the most articulate I’ve ever seen her speak, and she made perfect sense.

And to ShowbizSpy the announcement of her landing the role for Mahalia Jackson was released MONTHS ago. I hate when a so called blog or news site, puts up a post without doing their homework first. Anyway, that is all.

Fantasia is gorgeous. If you are a mean person you don’t see the beauty in anything. She changes her style frequently, which is brilliant, it keeps her fresh and keeps the interest to always want to see her again. Her vocals speak for themselves, absolutely amazing. She will be an icon to remember by everyone. Fantasia makes you want to know her personally and I think everyone who loves her wants to see her at the top forever in the biggest way. I just hope mean people don’t try to ruin her the way they attempted to do to other “greats”. I just wish we could see her more often! Seeing her the last couple of nights on two different shows was a huge treat.

The mainstream media/public has always had a bias toward non-waif singers. Yes, Fantasia has gained weight…well duh. She still looked good in my opinion. I thought her gown was still tasteful and flattering. Much better than some of the minidresses and hoochie outfits I’ve seen her wear on TV. But when it comes to shows like AI, body image often overshadows talent. Shouldn’t be like that, but it is.

She definitely gained weight for a movie role. Leave her alone. Its pathetic the way people bring down other people.

I love Fantasia and will always root for her to succeed. Seems like she’s a very polarizing character. People either love or hate her. I love her and think she’s amazing! I love her personality. I like Fantasia. I didn’t really like the song. Sure, she’s gained weight, but she’s still shapley, and I thought she looked nice. I thought she gave good advice to the contestants. She gave better advice than what the judges have given so far.

Fantasia definitely deserved to win American Idol, but her choice of songs since she won the show has not been the best. Collard Greens and Cornbread was the worst.

As usual, there are many people posting who are wearing invisible masks. They jump at every opportunity to tear an African American down. Fantasia has a beautiful voice, and she won Amnerican Idol fair and square. She actually blew the competition away, especially with “Summer Time.” When she recently appeared on Idol, I knew that there would be negative comments. Although she was gaining weight for her upcoming role as the late Legendary Mahalia Jackson, people would have negative comments, especially people who hate African Americans. I knew they would pick on her song choice as well. She received a standing ovasion, but they could care less. Fantasia should look to the Lord, and keep moving in a positive direction. There will always be hateful people in this world who will choose to discriminate against color, weight, etc. They are very insecure, and are filled with hate.
