Kate Beckinsale — Kate Beckinsale For Total Recall Remake?

Thursday, April 21, 2011

Kate BeckinsaleKATE Beckinsale is reportedly set to star in the Sony Pictures remake Total Recall.

According to Deadline, the actress will play Lori, who was portrayed in the 1990 Paul Verhoeven-directed actioner by Sharon Stone.

Colin Farrell is also set to star in the flick.

Beckinsale is married to the film’s director, Len Wiseman. The couple have previously worked together on the Underworld films.

Kate — who in 2009 named ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’ by Esquire magazine — has previously admitted she’s insecure about her body.

“I’ve always had doubts about my looks. Most women have body issues and I’m no different,” she said.

“At one point I felt as though everyone was out to get me.

“I was having everything examined from my cellulite to my choice of films. I had allowed my self to be flattered when all this talk of breasts started because I assumed it meant I looked good.

“But when I found out it meant I had horrible boobs I was taken aback. I began to wonder why I cared about things which, essentially, don’t matter at all.”[imagebrowser id=741]

Does the film industry suffer from an incurable brain disorder?

What is the purpose in remaking every film that has ever been made? It seems they are at the verge of remaking films that haven’t even been to the theaters yet.

There must be someone in the industry who can figure out how to type a few simple pages something new.

    SHE IS SO HOT!

She’s gorgeous, but seriously, why do we need a remake of Total Recall?? The movie already exists, and it’s good. It’s not even that old! There is absolutely no need for a remake.

Why doesn’t Hollywood trying making a NEW movie??? Like they did twenty years ago, when all the films currently being “rebooted” were made the first time around. There must be someone in Hollywood capable of actually writing a script.
