Robert Pattinson Wants The Best For His Dog!

ROBERT Pattinson demanded the “best” care money could buy when his dog got sick.

The hunky British star says he’s grateful his huge paychecks helped save his pooch’s life.

“It sounds ridiculous but my dog was sick with a puppy disease called parvo and it was such a relief being able to go into the vet and say, ‘I want the best, immediately’,” Rob said.

Meanwhile, Rob says he’s terrified of circuses because he once saw a clown die.

The Twilight hunk was left traumatized after a stunt went wrong during his first ever visit to the big top with his parents when he was a young boy.

“The first time I went to the circus somebody died. One of the clowns died. His little car exploded. The joke car exploded on him. Seriously,” Rob said.

“Everybody ran out. It was terrifying. It’s the only time I’ve ever been to the circus.”

They are more susceptible to catching diseases before they turn 6 months. And DEFINETLY keep them away from parks.The virus thrives in these places. It is HIGHLY contagious.

I’m wondering what is going to happen to this dog if K comes over here to film SW. R doesn’t have any work at that time and presumably will be here also. Has either of them considered what happens to the dog? You can’t bring a pit-bull or cross-bred pit-bull into the UK as they are on the dangerous dogs list and are barred from entering, and under the waiver scheme (which applies to the US and Canada) the forms you fill out show the breed of the dog. You also can’t bring any dog in under the waiver scheme on a private plane. If they tried to sneak it in by private plane and the dog were found, it would be put into quarantine, or in the case of this dog, it would be put down as it’s a banned breed and the owner would face prosecution under the dangerous dogs act – and that isn’t a joke. If they needed to take it to a vet over here the vet would want its registration details before the dog were treated also. We don’t have rabies in this country and they want to keep it that way. Additionally there have been cases recently of children and even an adult being killed by cross-bred pit bulls so the law is even more strictly enforced. This pair appear to think they can do anything they want. What a pair of fat-heads they are.

your post is very interesting.. but when in the recent past has r demonstrated that he understands that there are consequences for any of his actions? in my opinion, never!! the puppy was an impulse pr move in my opinion – no thoughts were ever given to the necessary care for it nor the implications of travel to it.. sounds like a wonderful dog owner, doesn’t it? i actually thought it would just go to k’s parents – that would have been the ‘right thing to do’ for the puppy rather than use it for his public image and relay ‘game’.. just my opinions…but at this point, nothing surprises me..

pit bulls are not looked upon too kindly here in the u.s. either.. let’s hope that dumb and dumber figure out what’s best for that dog.. don’t want to stress it out, especially since it has pit bull in the mix.. they should keep it somewhere where it can get a ton of exercise and where there is a routine in order for it not to stress out, especially as a puppy. i know that that breed has taken a public bashing, but not without reason..

I’d just glanced at the story and didn’t get to the bit about parvo. Even if it weren’t part pit-bull the quarantine people would think twice about allowing it in the country unless there were vets’ documents to say the animal was perfectly healthy now. It’s lucky to be alive. Re: K’s parents – those wolf-dogs they have wouldn’t be allowed in here eitherI don’t think. Too bad K doesn’t fall into the ‘needs to be quarantined’ category.

if you look at the picture of the dog with k – it is not a german shepard – maybe some shepard mix, but not a pure bred shepard … the head shape is all wrong for a shepard and i think it looks like a pit bull, but i’m not sure. there is a code name for that breed here and i don’t know what it is.. something like american standard terrier.. i’m sure someone here knows.

Hello Rachel – it’s a cross apparently – German Shepherd/pit-bull. In one of his interviews he said himself that it was a mutt and that was the mixture. My immediate thought reading that was what he was planning on doing with it in the future – poor thing. I’m sure at one point the Government wanted to put down all pit-bulls and cross-breeds or at least have them all neutered so that the breed would die out over here. Yes, I’m surprised K didn’t dive into her hood when spotted but obviously wanted to be seen. Head up own bottom seems to be the syndrome both suffer from. I’m not sure if you are aware of the Aussie culture but I am & strip clubs here are very popular for single men on the weekend & unlike restaurants, pubs & nightclubs the paps can’t take pics inside one it’s against the law to take still images or video footage inside those establishments unless you have a court order to conduct surveillance so RP can enjoy himself in private & without getting papped

I remember when I travelled to Amsterdam, went to Red Light District with other 2 girls. We were alerted from other friends that we were not allowed/supposed to take pics of those prostitute behind the big windows, not only disrepecful to them, but it’s also about their rights. the dog rp was talking about was his dog that died a year ago or so. that dog had parvas. wether it be cardgiac parvas or intestinal parvas the chances of survival is very , very small.
the new dog is part pit bull and german sheppard. it was in a kennel where they put down dangerous or ailing canines. i am surprised they let the animal loose.
it certainly was a bad choice at any rate.
i know that during the filming of WFE rp “fell in love” with the little terrier the character walter had in the movie, and wanted to buy it.( i guess he doesn’t know very much about show dogs??? the owners do NOT sell their
animals!)

cj, Bear is the dog that had parvo. He was adopted from a shelter and would be put down if he was not adopted. Bear doesn’t look like a pit, more like shepard mix and I’m not worried he won’t be taken good care of. RP and KS seem to love animals!
