Jon Gosselin Doesn’t Miss Reality TV

JON Gosselin wants a normal life.

The father of eight says he’s glad he turned his back on reality TV.

“I really don’t miss anything about the reality TV life, to be honest,” Jon says. “It just wasn’t for me.”

Recent reports claimed Jon’s ex-wife, Kate Gosselin, is suing him $125,000 in back child support.

“She makes several million dollars a year and has free things thrown at her and the kids — if anything, she should be paying Jon child support!” a source told In Touch Weekly magazine.

“It is a shock to everyone that she still insists Jon pay her money, when his focus needs to be on providing what he can for the kids during his custody.

“Her attempts to sue Jon are just ways she tries to control everything around her because she’s still angry about their failed marriage.

“Kate is so cheap, at least when it comes to the kids: She has TLC pay for their food, clothes and travel on days they film.

“She’s frugal when it comes to the kids, but she has no qualms about spending money on herself.

“Jon’s paid back $80,000 this year so far and the court ordered him to pay around $22,000 a month.

“That amount was based on his potential earning, which has changed so much since TLC has limited the amount of media work he can do — and that’s how Jon was making his living. Before their series ended, they both were making hundreds of thousands of dollars on appearances and media deals. Between the two of them, they must have made millions. But they spent the money as fast as they earned it.”

        Why would the kids be better off with Jon. Because you hate Kate and you say so. Yeah I could see them at Jons trying to get ready for school, having to worry about pissing dogs on their sleeping beds. Yeah all that sounds so much more attractive than being at Kates.

    I really like Jon when I watched Jon and Kate Plus 8. He was the parent the kids truly loved. He played with them and got down and “dirty” with them.

    I can’t understand how Jon got so little out of the divorce anyway. The Gosselin name is the “brand”. If she hates Jon and her kids so much, why won’t she change her last name back to her maiden name, Kreider? Exactly, she has no talent.

    Whatever he got in the divorce settlement was not fair. Like most states, SHE SHOULD BE PAYING HIM ALIMONY ON HER MILLIONS!

    Jon helped to create her empire and the millions she gets today. Of course working a “normal” job will never give him enough money to pay huge child support payments. The fact he has paid $80,000 is great. I HATE Kate Gosselin and I believe she has some serious mental health and control issues. Save the Gosselin 8 from that witch!

      If the spouse has a job there is no need to be paid alimony. Not sure if all states are the same or not.

    There is no alimony in PA, and the courts are not very generous with fathers… if he wanted money, he should have married her in California.

    Kate ain’t the one that spent all her money because she did not wind up broke and homeless like Jon.

    Kate is so cheap! That’s why she pays for mortgage, kids’ tuition, medical/dental, buys their clothes & puts food in their bellies.

    Jon & Kate’s divorce was a 50/50 split. Jon didn’t want the house w/ the mortgage and he owed do many people/firms that they got their money from his divorce settlement before Jon got his share.

    If you work for a company they are suppose to incur all expenses associated with the show. I think that is the law.

    Just because Kate makes more money than Ion DOES NOT excuse Jon from his obligation of child support for his children.

    Sounds like Jon is the cheap one if he uses all of his resources to support his children during his visitation with them. Jon’s visitation is 2 weekends a month. So Jon’s source is bitchin’ ’cause he spends his money on his kids 4/5 days a month? Gimme a break!

    If Kate was angry about her marriage failing why did she kick Jon to the curb and initiate the divorce? Jon stated he felt rejected.

    If Kate spent all her money why was she able to take care of herself and her children. In addition, pay mortgage, taxes, tuition, medical, dental, car note, etc., for 8 months AFTER Jon shut down the show, ceasing the family’s sole income source.

    WHY did Jon spend 517k between September ’09 thru December ’09, get evicted from his apt, kicked out of his Santa Barbara, CA home of his girlfriend and wind up broke and homeless sleeping on his brother’s couch?

    I doubt any “source” close to Jon knows what Kate spends on.her children.

    Jon has VISITATION. Kate has CUSTODY. BIG difference!

      Kate, please just “finally” go away and release your kids from filming. Frankly, I don’t understand how you have any fans because you are just so mean. If it serves you well you will be nice, but basically, you are a jerk. The way you treated that pap guy who gave you flowers was rude. Go away!

    When the court ordered Jon to pay 22k a month in child support neither Jon or Kate was working and they only had the money they each saved for themselves before their sole source of income ceased.

    It would not have been fair for Kate to incur all the burdened costs associated with the well-being of their kids just because Jon squandered his money and Kate saved her money AND after the marital assets were split equitably.

    It was not Kate’s fault Jon owed everybody and their mama AND Jon’s creditors seized his half of the marital assets before he got another chance to squander.

    Jon is their father. Doesnt matter how much he makes or she makes, he still has some responsibility for them. I can guarantee any women on here posting would be going after an ex that wasnt paying child support. So what if she gets free stuff, its called advertising and Jon used to take as much as he could get.

    Why is she angry about it? I thought she kicked him to the curb and told him the marriage was over once he decided he wanted to stop filming. It’s her own fault, but of course, she’ll never see that.
