Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Hate Being Celebrities

BRAD Pitt and Angelina Jolie have to “hide behind some walls” to escape their celebrity status.

The Tree of Life star — who raises children, Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh five and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne with the 36-year-old actress — thinks he now has his lifestyle down “pretty well” after spending 10 years getting used to being known as one of the world’s most famous actors.

“It took me a good decade of hiding in my house and not going outside to even, like, get my arms around this idea of celebrity, where suddenly people are looking for you to pick your nose or get a shot of you kissing some woman,” he said.

“It’s a very discombobulating thing. But Angie and I have got it down pretty well. We have to hide behind some walls, but we’re good.”

Despite being happy with his domestic life, the 47-year-old hunk still struggles with his views on religion — having been brought up in the mid-west of the US, which well-known for its Christian views.

“I grew up in the f**king buckle of the Bible belt,” he added.

“This idea of an all-powerful, watching being that’s controlling our moves and giving us a chance to say he’s the greatest so we get into some eternal heaven – that just doesn’t work for me, man. I got a real problem with it.

“I see the value of religion and what it offers to people as a cushion and I don’t want to step on that. On the other hand, I’ve seen where I grew up how it becomes separatist, and I get quite aggravated and antagonistic.” Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Hate Being Celebrities

      They hate being celebrities but they do it anyways for the money to pay for all the walls they hide behind and all the perks that go with stardom. I wish they both would take their brat brood and all just disappear for good because I’m so sick of hearing about them.

    Oh now Jolie and Pitt hate being celebrities, eh? 10 years in hiding, really? I didn’t notice, in fact it was quite the opposed. Interestingly enough that Jolie and Pitt just LOVED being celebs when they were getting all the good press for pretending doing good things, like being “saint”, fauxmanitarians, “donating” money they earn from selling pictures of their own newborns to their own charity named Jolie-Pitt fraudation, etc. And now, when they’re getting negative media attention, all of a sudden they hate being celebrities.

    Are you people for real???? Brad was talking about when he first became famous he was hiding behind walls until he got a handle on the media and celebrity. Now he and Angie have managed to find a way to hide behind walls when they want some privacy without the pap’s following their every move!!! Angie, Brad and their children are the most photographed and hounded people on the planet right now and it is not of their chosing. They understand when they have to do photo calls, etc. when they have movies coming out but the majority of the pictures you see of them are taken with a telephoto lens. They realize they cannot stop that but they do have a problem with the pap’s sticking cameras into their children’s faces.

    For the last time…..Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt both told the media there was NO CHEATING!!! Good God people use your brain or do some research before you post on these blogs.
    Also, just like you and I, Brad has the right to believe what he wants as far as religion is concerned. He just did not agree with the bible beating baptist of hell fire and brimestone. Neither do I. You don’t have to belong to an organized religious group to believe in God, which I do. Stop judging people. It is not what God would want for he will be the judge of all of us in the end. Get a grip.

      Thank you for displaying a shred of sanity, Marie. Of course Brad was talking about the sudden onset of fame for him, and since that took place 20 years ago he’s certainly had time to adjust. And why all the Angie hate, everyone? No one wants to be “on” 24/7. The man was simply explaining that they’ve found some balance in their lives, and good for them. There are clearly a lot of jealous, angry, sad people out here…

    Wow it’s so obvious that nobody even bothered to read the story and decided to believe a false headline. Brad never uttered that sentence and doesn’t even indicate he hates celebrity. I don’t even know why the writer lied and mentioned Angelina since Brad doesn’t even talk about her in that context. All he said was at the beginning of his career he didn’t know how to handle it and was afraid of it.

    Notice that any random time we see Aniston, she looks great. In random pictures of Jolie and Pitt they look awful. I take that back, even on the red carpet they look terrible. Brad is old looking and Angie looks like a skeleton with a monstrous head.

    Brad Pitt has a great deal to be grateful for. Perhaps he can embrace Buddhism or Hinduism or just plain Eastern Philosophy or the Tao.  There’s something called Universal Harmony Brad.  You sound egotistical.  Angelina needs to look at all sides of conflict before she makes a political movie.  The story she told is false, the stats. she reports at the end of her film are completely false based on U.N. documents and reports.  The 50,000 rapes of Muslim women never happened Jolie!  You’re creating pain in the world under the guise of humanitarianism and opening up old wounds.  I’ve done quite a bit of reading and found that some of the things Jolie supports look humanitarian on the outside but are questionable once you get in to it.  She needs to learn discernment instead of just accepting mainstream authority.  She’s not a very educated girl and I don’t believe she’s learned in life how to ascertain hidden agendas or the psycholology of various individuals.  I can’t figure out if she is just indiscriminately naive or too power hungry to notice.  Misplaced ‘humanitarianism’ turns in to propoganda and lies Angelina.  You have a responsibility to get to the truth instead of surrounding yourself with sycophants and handlers.
