Daniel Radcliffe Sick to Death of Harry Potter

Tuesday, July 12, 2011

DANIEL Radcliffe never wants to play Harry Potter again.

The 21-year-old actor has starred as the boy wizard in all eight movies in the series — most recently Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, the second installment of the adaptation of J.K. Rowling‘s seventh book — but hopes the author doesn’t write anymore sequels as he thinks the franchise has finished at the right time.

“I’m the only person in the world that doesn’t want there to be an eighth Harry Potter book,” Daniel said.

“Believe me, I’ve given 10 years — I can! I think it’s been an amazing 10 years and I would be quite happy for it to finish at this point because the stories were rounded off in such a succinct and perfect way.”

Despite his reluctance to return to the franchise, Daniel will always be “proud” of his work on the movie series.

“Every opportunity I will get for the rest of my life, I would not have got if it wasn’t for Harry Potter. It would be the height of ingratitude if I was ever anything but proud to be associated with these films,” he said.

I have a hard time believing that when a person is lucky enough to be in a film or films that are popular and loved by everyone…then they say “They Hate It’. Daniel would not be famous if he had not been in The Potter films and he should think of fans and how much they love the movies..be anxious to do another film if she wrote one… I guess it can get tiring playing the same character for so many years….but all those kids who played in Harry Potter..are extrememly lucky…Most of us..me being in my 50′s..have nothing to show for our lives and will be forgotten when we die….but people who stat in films live forever…

I hope they do more Potter movies whether he wants to or not. I know that sounds a tad selfish but so does hating one of the best film series ever, along with Twilight and the Vampire series.
