Amy Winehouse’s Dad Determined to Find Cause of Death

Monday, July 25, 2011

AMY Winehouse‘s father “won’t rest” until he finds out how she died.

Mitch Winehouse has vowed to leave no stone unturned as he tries to found out the truth behind his daughter’s tragic passing at her home in Camden, north London, on Saturday afternoon at the age of just 27.

“How did my little girl die? I won’t rest until I find out,” he reportedly told a friend.

The former taxi driver is said to be “in pieces” and is struggling to come to terms with the loss of Amy.

“Mitch is in pieces and is desperate to find out what happened in those last few hours. He just doesn’t know what to believe. He went straight to his ex-wife Janis’ home,” a source said.

“He is acutely aware that it could be drugs that killed Amy, or that they may have triggered a pre-existing condition.

“At the moment, he is without a clue. It’s all speculation. The lack of answers makes it even harder to come to terms with.”

No drugs were found in her home by police.

Although an autopsy is expected to be carried out on the Rehab singer’s body today to determine the cause of death, Mitch is said to be keen to adhere to Jewish traditions and bury Amy as soon as possible, with the family already having begun the first official phase of mourning — the ‘sitting shiva’ — for her.

These people with their stupid pointless and pretentious religious beliefs are a joke! We have had enough already with the loony muslims trying to ram their shit down our throats.

  • leah

Paul you heartless piece of S**T regardless of religion a person has died and their family should by allowed to mourn how the want to. Dont tar everyone with the same brush just because of a few loonies claiming to b Muslims. Dont be so damn ignorant you fool.

    • paul

These stupid religious beliefs have an effect indirectly as well as directly and what is ignorance is the fools that embrace them. More and more concessions are having to made in life because of their time wasting nonsense. That is a fact irrespective of the circumstances.
As far as the passing of AW we go through the same thing time and time again every time a celebrity dies with people like you Sarah talking and behaving in the same fashion over people you never knew. Why don’t you grow up girl!

Death becomes you! Her turn today and ours maybe tomorrow yes?
You can only get away with abusing your body for so long before it catches up with you. Unless you are very lucky and one of those that get away with it like Ozzy Osbourne.

Had enough already of what Paul? How does the fact that people are mourning in their own way according to their own religious beliefs affect us in anyway? What makes the way you think or act or mourn any better than anyone elses? That’s just plain ignorance.

If this report is accurate, I find it interesting that there were no drugs found at the apartment. I, like most everybody else, assumed drug overdose. Of course, she could have been w/ someone else & they took any evidence of drug use w/ them.

She could quite likely have died from heart failure anyway considering her physical condition.

Dear winehouse family,I am truly sorry for your loss I cant imagine feeling your pain at all Jane

Paul is obviously an Atheist or Agnostic on a rant. How they hate it when Theist go on rants. Too bad he cannot see himself in the same light as he views others. Anyway, it is an incredible loss to music. I saw an music artist able to fuse Jazz, R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop, and some Rock into a style that was unique and deeply personal. Ultimately, there was a deep “lostness” in Amy Winehouse. Some would say it was spiritual, some that it was psychological, and others would say that it was just a symptom of her addictions. However, along with the extraordinary talent, you can see a driving discontentment in her eyes and persona even in videos and pictures long before the public decline and her association with her Ex-husband. I think Tony Bennett was one of the few celebrities to narrow it down to something spiritual wrong deep down in her persona. I do not think there was ever going to be a secular solution to saving Amy Winehouse’s life. I look forward to someday listening to the music she seemed to have recorded before her passing, since I believe “Love Is A Losing Game” was easily one of the best songs written and recorded and will hopefully become a classic. May “love be a winning game” for you forever Amy Winehouse, and may God bless her deeply grieving family and friends.
