DAVID Arquette is reportedly set to compete on Dancing with the Stars’.
The 39-year-old actor — who separated from wife Courteney Cox last year — will take to the dancefloor in the celebrity contest with professional dancer Kym Johnson, gossip website TMZ has claimed.
Program chiefs will officially unveil the line up for the new season next week, but several stars have already been linked with the show.
Among those who may be competing to be crowned champion are reality TV star Rob Kardashian, singers Nick Jonas, Queen Latifiah and Christina Milian, veteran presenter Regis Philbin, troubled actress Lindsay Lohan and her mother Dina, George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis and basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal.
One person who won’t be taking part is Jersey Shore star Snooki, who recently took to her Twitter page to shot down speculation she was training for the show.
She wrote, “I love watching Dancing with the Stars but I am not apart of the cast ! Sorry Tweedos (sic)”
It was recently revealed the Dancing with the Stars set has had a $3 million makeover ahead of the new season, including triple-tiered balcony-style seating for the audience and a staircase in the middle of the stage, which can split into two halves to reveal the orchestra pit.
Producers are also said to be “very excited” about the changes, which also encompass the dancefloor, which will be made into an elevated platform.
