Bobby Brown Banned From Whitney’s Funeral

Posted by Adam

BOBBY Brown has been banned from Whitney Houston‘s funeral.

The tragic singer will be buried in New Jersey this Saturday and sources say Houston’s family don’t want her ex-husband to be in attendance.

NBC New York reports that the funeral for the late superstar will be held at Newark’s Prudential Center, which has a capacity of 18,000, while a wake is said to be planned for Thursday.

According to nj.com, a law enforcement insider claims that filmmaker Tyler Perry will fly the coffin to New Jersey. Her remains are expected to arrive at around 10pm.

Newark is the town where Houston was born. She began singing with the choir, and played piano at the New Hope Baptist church, her place of worship.

Even so, the arena has been touted as a more suitable venue to farewell the singing great, given the crowds expected.

Funeral arrangements are reportedly being handled by Newark’s Whighman Funeral Home, which provided the service for Whitney’s father, who died in 2003.

Houston was found dead on Saturday in the bathtub of her Beverly Hills’ hotel suite.

That is so wrong!  Regardless of how the family and fans feel about him, Whitney loved him for many years.  Besides, how can you with good conscious deny a father the chance to share in the grief with his daughter?  This is supposed to be about honoring Whiney, not exacting revenge on the people we think may have hurt her!

That is wrong and they should let him attend the funeral. He needs to be there for his daughter and for him to be band isn’t the right thing to do. They should be trying to come together not be apart. I pray that they will change their mind.

I think the family made this decision becasue they were afraid Brown would turn this into a spectacle, an all-about-me fest.

This so wrong if her mother goes along with this.  That is his daughter and her mother is gone and she will need her father on that day.  Her grandmother did not give birth to this child and she should not cause anymore pain to this child then what she already has.  Everybody no she was very close to her mother and father.  She loves him just like she loved her mother.  I think if the grandmother deny her father from the services it’s going to drive her granddaughter right into his arms when this is all over and she may turn against her when it’s all over.  So to the grandmother do the right thing for your granddaughter and as christians we have to forgive and love thy neighbors.  Remember Whitney was about Love and her music reflected that.  May God continue to bless the family.

You guys this article is WRONG! It has already been confirmed that Whitney’s funeral will be held in the New Hope Baptist Church not the Arena has stated here. Her mother and family wanted a private, invite only funeral and Bobby Brown will be attending this is FALSE.
