NICK Lachey is gonna be a daddy!

The former singer has announced that he and his wife Vanessa Minnillo — who he married last July — are are expecting their first child together.

“I’ve had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and my life but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to,” Nick said.

“The fact that it’s actually here, it’s overwhelming.

“We definitely want to know [the sex]. I can’t take the knowledge that someone out there knows, but I don’t know. It’s like watching a sports game on TiVo.

“If it’s a girl, I think it might be Sophia. If it’s a boy, I’m not sure. Colin John Lachey [has always been a favorite]. Call him C.J. for short. C.J. Lachey.”
