EVA Green has told how she was inspired by Hollywood wildman Jack Nicholson for her vampire role opposite Johnny Depp in Dark Shadows.

The sexy star plays Depp’s lover in the gothic comedy and based her character on Nicholson’s performances in films including The Shining and The Witches of Eastwick.

“I got inspired by many things,” says Eva.

“The music of Janis Joplin, Bette Davis in her more bonkers roles but also Jack Nicholson and his great way of being on the edge. He really helped me play a damaged character.”
