ANGELINA Jolie isn’t scared to get political.
The Hollywood actress dropped by for a meeting with Foreign Secretary William Hague in her capacity as a Special Envoy for the United Nations refugee agency, according to Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper.
The Salt star gave a short presentation before a screening of her directorial debut In the Land of Blood and Honey, about the war in Bosnia.
Angelina, who has received a lot of positive feedback about her film in Sarajevo, joined forces with Mr Hague on a government drive to tackle violence against women in war zones.
Recent reports claimed Angelina and partner Brad Pitt — who are engaged to be married — have put their wedding plans on hold.
“Their wedding plans are in chaos after she agreed to make three movies back-to-back,” a source said.
“Brad isn’t happy that Angelina has taken on all this work as it has scuppered plans for a summer wedding.
“He is taking on less work to be with the children and Angelina’s father, Jon Voight, is also flying to the UK to help out.”
