Christopher Meloni to Return to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit

Sunday, July 15, 2012

CHRISTOPHER Meloni is reportedly set to return to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

The actor — who revealed he’d be exiting the series in 2011 after 12 years as Det. Elliot Stabler –  says he might entertain the idea of reuniting with Mariska Hargitay‘s Olivia Benson.

“I’m always willing to consider. I had 12 great years on the show. I loved the people and I loved that character,” Meloni said when asked by a fan during a panel at Saturday’s Comic-Con in San Diego.

“There’s no bad blood there. We’ll just see when it comes. It’s still doing OK, I guess.”

It is not the same without Meloni I agree, but it does not make it any less of a phenomenal show to watch and for those of you who think otherwise you are some fake-ass SVU fans who have no loyalty.

I think it was him holding Liv’s hand in the first episode of 2013. Now maybe it could actually be true! I, personally, prefer them as best friends, being a loyal SVU fan, bit still I’d love it. And honestly, who else could it be?
