Dennis Rodman Reunites With Dad After 42 Years!

DENNIS Rodman met his estranged father after 42 years of separation following an exhibition game in the Philippines on Wednesday.

Philander Rodman Jr. says he was happy and surprised that his son agreed to meet him late Wednesday. He tried to meet the basketball Hall of Famer during another game in Manila in 2006.

Phliander has acknowledged fathering 29 children by 16 mothers.

“It was great,” Philander said Thursday of the first time he held his son’s hands since they last met in December 1969.

“I’ve been trying to meet him for years. And then last night, boom, I met him. I was really, really happy and very surprised.

“I really, really felt good. It’s the beginning of something new.”

Philander said his son did not even want to talk about him six years ago, but he was encouraged to try again to meet him after Tuesday’s press conference where the former Pistons and Bulls star invited him to watch Wednesday’s game.

“I don’t hate the guy that brought me into this world,” said Dennis Rodman. “The fact is, if I saw him, I’ll just tell him, `You know, you’re a friend of mine’.”

    Why in the world would 16 women get pregnant, some of them multiple times, by the same dead-beat daddy? I don’t get it. My mother made me and my sister go on a field trip to the welfare office when I was 12 years. It was the most disturbing field trip I’ve ever been on, but let me tell you, the memory of that day is still keeping me out of trouble.

    Damn, that’s crazy 16 women altogether had 29 kids for one man. What is wrong with these women as if they think having a baby would make a man put a ring on it. SMDH
