OLYMPIC swimmer Ryan Lochte‘s mother recent made some remarks about her son’s sex life.

Ike Lochte said Ryan has had lots of one-night stands — because he doesn’t have time for a relationship.

“He goes out on one-night stands. He’s not able to give fully to a relationship because he’s always on the go,” she said.

And now psychosexual therapist Dr. Ruth has addressed Ike’s comments.

“Ryan Lochte’s mom admits son has only 1 nite stands & he’s glad he’s single at Olympics. And now in lane 1,” Ruth wrote on Twitter.

“Seems to me your mom shouldn’t be discussing your sex life on nat’l TV.

“Mom as wingman? Really? Doesn’t she want him to find a girlfriend?

“In Jewish tradition making a match is a mitzvah, a blessing. Mom being wingman for 1 nite stands, not so much. Or maybe she was warning the girls away so they wouldn’t get broken hearts?

“Hopefully Mr. Lochte, who wears rubber cap while swimming, wears a rubber somewhere else during all these 1 nite stands.”

Meanwhile, Lochte has denied being promiscuous.

“They took it out of context. My mom is really new to all of this and the media,” he told Us Weekly.

“She meant since the last 4 years I just wanted to focus on swimming, and I didn’t really have time for a relationship.

“When I’m in a relationship, I want to give that person my entire heart and I wasn’t able to ever do that because of swimming. I’m always on the go. So what she meant is that I do go out on dates.

“But its not that thing that everyone is talking about, because that’s not me. I’ve never done that and never have been like that, so I don’t want people to think that about me.”
