JESSICA Simpson has lost 40 pounds of pregnancy weight in just four months.
The star — who gave birth to baby Maxwell on May 1 — has shed the flab thanks to breast-feeding, marathon gym sessions and a personalized, no-starve Weight Watchers plan.
“Jess has been doing a lot of work on herself,” an insider tells Life & Style magazine.
“And she’ll gradually be showing her weight loss through Weight Watchers commercials over the next few months.
“She has met all her Weight Watchers goals and is overjoyed. She’s so proud of herself.”
Simpson recently admitted she’s struggled to lose the weight.
“I let myself indulge in everything I wanted because it was the first time I was ever pregnant, and I wanted to enjoy it,” she said.
“I didn’t know [the weight] didn’t all come off with the baby.
“My body is not bouncing back like a supermodel. I’m just your everyday woman who is trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter, her fiancé and herself.”
