TOM Cruise helped Cameron Diaz celebrate her 40th birthday at London’s Coworth Park Hotel on August 30.

The pair starred together in the films Vanilla Sky and Knight and Day.

“They’re very close,” a source told America’s In Touch Weekly.

“She thinks Tom is awesome.

“Cameron is totally Tom’s type – A-list, stunning and strong.

“I think they’ve hooked up in the past. They have crazy good chemistry.”
