KHLOE Kardashian is teaming up with Mario Lopez to host The X Factor USA.

The TV talent show started last week, but still lacks a presenter to front its live episodes.

Sources say Khloe and former Saved by the Bell star Lopez — who  was tipped to host the first series of the show last year, but the job went to Steve Jones, who was dropped after unsatisfactory ratings — are poised to sign on as presenters.

Show boss Simon Cowell has previously hinted Khloe, 28, was his first choice to host the show.

“I know whom I would like, but now I have to get it approved by the network,” he said.

“We have screen-tested a load of people … It could be a Kardashian. I think that would work. I’m a fan of putting inexperienced hosts on this show.

“We have to find people who have a great chemistry, but Khloe is definitely up there in the running.”

Recent reports claimed Khloe’s sister, Kim Kardashian, is jealous of her new gig.

“It’s a done deal with Khloe and The X Factor. Can’t nothing go wrong,” a source told HollywoodLife.

“It’s a wrap for her and [she's] more than excited to get out there and do the show and get more notoriety.

“There was a little beef at first between Khloe and Kim because Khlo made a joke to Kim about Kanye [West] not getting the Idol gig. I think Khlo said something to Kim like ‘I guess America thinks I’m a better talent judge than your man.’

“Kim got pissed at Khloe but you know how these girls compete for everything. They like to hide that stuff but it come out sometime.”

The source adds that the girls’ momager, Kris Jenner, is “happy and bitter at the same time.”

“She want nothing but the best for her kids and their better halves and wanted Kanye to get Idol like Khloe is getting X Factor,” said the source.

“That would have really made Kris’ day and brought more competition into their lives! Kris would have loved this. Kris would cut off her right hand for more fame for her family.

“The woman is lovely but poor thing — she just can’t help herself.”
