Danica Patrick Dating Ricky Stenhouse Jr?

DANICA Patrick is moving on to her next man!

The racing star — who recently announced her plans to divorce physical therapist Paul Hospenthal — has long had a flirty relationship with 25-year-old rookie driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

“While there’s no proof of a physical relationship, bloggers on racing sites are buzzing about the sparks flying between Danica and Ricky,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“More than a few people are pointing out she’s ending a seven-year marriage just as she’s gotten closer and closer to Ricky.

“She’s also much closer in age to him than her husband, who is 17 years older than Danica.

“For most of their marriage, they were like two ships passing in the night.

“They kept a home in Scottsdale, Ariz., but with Danica’s schedule, she spent very little time there.

“Danica has spent more time with Ricky the past couple of years than with her husband. When he won the Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year in 2010, she was one of the first to congratulate him and gave him a big hug. It’s no secret Danica is infatuated with him.”

Sickens me that a level headed kid like Lil Ricky would even consider having anything to do with a leach like Danica. She is not qualified to be in Cup and she will only be a distraction to a promising career. Watch this kid start out in sprint cars and he has so much potential.

@rick johnson , someone with years of success and worth millions and millions more than someone else…can’t be called a leach , can you explain your reasoning ? a leach latches on to someone else to get more of what they have ….so in this case ricky would be the leach , and i don’t believe that. anyone that actually graduated 2nd grade would understand this. ricky is an awesome person , as is danica. I myself remember over 15 years ago , watching danica dominate in karts and thinking about her potential. success is not only number of wins and championships. there is not a pro driver that isn’t successful, otherwise they wouldnt be there. jealous hate and ignorance are ugly. look in the mirror rick.
@Damon….thank you for an intelligent comment.

Brooke Gordon was a leach, Danica is actually a driver and a pretty darn good one, after all, she DID finish in the top 10 in 6 of the 7 Indy 500′s she started, as well as finishing top 10 in points 6 of 7 years.

As for their relationship, unless you’re around her as much as he’s been how would you possibly know what she is or isn’t personality wise?

Not to mention the fact that she actually finished in the top 5 in two of those Indy 500s, and that only in 2005, her rookie year (when she nabbed one of those two top 5′s as well as tying a record for winning the pole three times in her rookie year), did she finish outside the top 10 (12th) in championship points, and that she steadily improved her standing thereafter: – 9th in 2006, 7th in 2007, 6th in 2008, 5th in 2009. Only when she split her efforts between IndyCar and NASCAR did she settle for 10th in 2010 and 2011.

And even in 2010 and 2011 she still had productive years , I could argue she drove her two best races of her Indycar career in 2010 at Texas and Homestead where she finished 2nd both times and was competitive against the eventual 2012 Champion Ryan Hunter-Reay, finishing just 33 points behind him for 7th in the 2011 championship.

She also finished ahead of Helio in points for the season.

That Homestead race where she was working on Tony Kanaan, trying to pass him on the outside lap after lap completely changed my thoughts about her. I realized at that point she was a bonafide racer that would “go for it” if things were right.
