ROBIN Roberts won’t be returning to Good Morning America until late next year — according to a new report.
The beloved anchor — who had a bone marrow transplant in August — will like be back on the show in June 2013.
Sources tell TMZ that Robin’s medical issues make an earlier return way too risky, because her immune system is extremely weak.
Doctors are pleased with Roberts’ progress and say she’s right on schedule, but that schedule puts her out of action for 5 or 6 months.
Producers hope Robin can return as early as February, but that’s not happening.
GMA honchos believe Robin’s return will boost ratings for the show even higher.
