[imagebrowser id=1209] ADELE is reportedly having breathing therapy to help her combat stage fright.

The singer is returning to the stage for the first time since giving birth at the Oscars ceremony next Sunday, and according to reports, has been undergoing special Chinese Qi Gong breathing therapy after being recommended by fellow singer Robbie Williams‘ wife Ayda Field.

“Adele has suffered with terrible stage fright since she was 16, but now it’s worse than ever,” a source said.

“She knows all eyes are on her after almost a year out of the spotlight, so she needed something to help her with it.

“Ayda was the first person to tell Adele about Belly Breathing, and how it had helped Robbie overcome his performing anxiety in recent years.

“It’s done wonders for Adele since she started getting daily sessions from a leading Indian practitioner.

“She’s being taught to breathe with her diaphragm instead of her chest, which is making an enormous difference.

“Adele has said it feels like she’s in a whole new phase of her life where performing’s concerned, and is confident she can beat her stage fright once and for all.”

Adele’s nerves have previously almost got the better of her, and she admitted to being sick before performing at the Grammy awards in 2012.
