TINA Fey doesn’t want to host the Oscars.
The Hollywood funnywoman was tipped to take on the high profile job in 2014 by last Sunday’s presenter Seth MacFarlane, after she won rave reviews for co-hosting the Golden Globes alongside her friend Amy Poehler earlier this month, but she thinks the job would be too stressful.
“I just feel like that gig is so hard,” she said.
“Especially for, like, a woman – the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses alone . . . No way.”
Meanwhile, Fey is working on a Mean Girls musical.
The Hollywood star — who wrote and featured in the 2004 film starring Lindsay Lohan — is teaming up with husband Jeff Richmond to bring the hit teen comedy to the stage.
Tina was quizzed about a possible Mean Girls musical on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards in Los Angeles last night.
“Maybe!” she said. “We want to. I would love to.
“I’m trying to develop it with my husband, who does all the music for 30 Rock and I think Paramount’s onboard.”
