Ellen DeGeneres Furious With Portia de Rossi

Wednesday, November 6, 2013

Ellen DeGeneresELLEN DeGeneres isn’t happy with wife Portia de Rossi.

The talk show titan is furious about the actress’ shocking comments about coming to grips with her sexuality.

“I just didn’t want to be a  lesbian,” the 40-year-old said. “I’d never met one for a start, and I thought they were strange, they hated men and were very serious.

“I had these ridiculous images in my head, and there were no ‘out’ celebrities or politicians or anybody I could look to and go, ‘Oh, I could be like that.’ There was nobody that I could say, ‘I could date her and I want to be like her.’ I just kind of thought I don’t want to live like this.”

Ellen, sources say, is enraged by Portia’s candid talk.

“It’s added more tension to their already troubled marriage,” disclosed a friend. “Ellen’s a champion of gay rights and doesn’t like Portia saying, in essence, that being gay is ‘strange.’”

Ellen — who announced she was a lesbian in 1997 — was also upset by Portia claiming that no other celebrities were “out” during the time she was wrestling with her sexuality.

“That really stung, because Ellen came out before Portia had even landed her spot on Ally McBeal in 1998,” noted the friend.

“Now Portia is walking on eggshells around Ellen.”[imagebrowser id=530]

This is a LIE. Not a slightly altered version of the truth, but simply a lie 100% The interview that all the news outlets are on about happened two years ago. It is NOT NEW. Furthermore, Portia didn’t say a word in that interview she didn’t say in her book and Ellen raved about how brave she was for being blunt, etc. This is pure fabricated lies built up by someone who doesn’t even qualify to be considered a journalist. Watch the interview, she still had long hair at that time. 2-3 yrs ago this was taped AND shown. I saw it myself when it was new and there was nothing at all negative. Shame shame and more shame for printing lies.

It is an interview with Oprah and she explained how she was feeling at the time she was anorexic and how she felt about being gay. I agree with you. This article is fabricated.

      I agree 100%

I’m relieve to read your comment. When I read the article I do hope it’s a lie. I always look at Ellen’a pretty eyes evrytime she look at Portia. That sparkling in her eyes, it so sweet. Such a shame if they broken.

Your statement is very confusing! You don’t dispute that Portia made these statements at some point, right? If she actually made these statements (in her book, whenever) then they are true statements.

LOL, kdl you’re missing the point: Roast is saying the article about Ellen being furious, is a lie. Portia made the statements, yes. YEARS AGO. But there has never been any evidence at all that Ellen was upset about those statements. There is no evidence right now that Ellen is “furious.” This article, then, is a fabrication.

    No way this is true.

this was ALL in the book that ellen herself was plugging for her wife. i kinda think she would have read it then…but why let some facts get in the way of a load of old bollocks

This is all based on an old interview with Amanda de Cadenet from a few years back. In that interview she repeated what she said in her book. Yes, these phrases were said, but she was speaking of a time in her teens and early twenties, before she came out. If you watch the whole thing, or read her book, you will hear the unfolding of how she realized it was ok, that it wasn’t strange at all, and that she didn’t have to be any certain kind of lesbian, that she could just be herself. The interview was shown then, Ellen saw it then, and was proud of what she said and the truthfulness of what was said. When this interview first came out, it was praised as delightful, candid and inspiring. Just look what a few years and some nasty press can do. Same interview, totally different twist. Ellen is NOT mad about this. At the time it came out, Ellen was beaming with pride. It is so wrong people make a living out of negativity and lies. Watch the interview, it was so lovely and Portia was so open and thoughtful and supportive of gays in general. None of this crap is true.

Typical American’s press- creating stories destroying ppl’s life which is not true at all! Picking old interviews turning it into today’s news, just show how short of real things to write!

The original air date on this interview was May 3 2012. Ellen wasn’t mad then, she isn’t mad now. Because there was nothing bad said. Portia was saying because she had no gay role models and only her own self hate, she thought that being a lesbian was a weird gross thing. She has said that she really didn’t know any lesbians like herself at that time, and because she didn’t fit in, she didn’t know who she was or how to live her life. And how that unfolded as she got healthy self respect and now wants those growing up gay to have that chance to realize that there isn’t anything weird about it. Publicizing this slant on something is really bordering on libel and definitely crosses into defamation of character. Hope you are happy with that choice.

The person that wrote this lie is obviously hopeing that it is true, for some sick jeliousy issue. You know, how could two women be happy togeather for very long. What a sicko. Well i dont believe it for a sec. Everyone has obsticals in marrage. You work them out. That is what love is. And they have love. Years of happiness to them both.
