50 Cent angers religious group
50 Cent has been criticized by an American religious group for wearing crosses.
The Resistance has issued a statement demanding the removal of the diamond-encrusted cross he is often seen wearing.
The religious group’s founder Mark Dice said: “50 Cent is no Christian, and if you listen to his lyrics it becomes clear that he is more of a Satanist than anything.
“He is defaming the cross and committing blasphemy by wearing it while he raps about killing people for no reason because he’s a big bad ‘gangster’.
“I think a large diamond-studded platinum satanic pentagram would be a little more fitting for him.”
But the “IN DA CLUB” star’s manager Chris Lighty dismissed their demands and branded them “absurd”.
He added: “We aren’t aware of this absurd request. They should look up our charitable deeds before casting a stone.”
