Christian group plan anti-Paris Hilton celebration

Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton’s 45-day jail sentence is to be feted next month by a right-wing Christian group, who feel disgusted by the socialite’s “role model status”.

The heiress to The Hilton Hotel empire, learned of her fate earlier this month, as she was sentenced to 45 days in prison for driving with a suspended license and violating a probation order, Paris will begin her sentence on June 5 at a California correctional facility.

The sentence that has been deemed “harsh” by Paris, and branded a “joke” by her mother, came as a shock to many on the Hollywood circuit, but Mark Dice, founder of The Resistance, is jubilant the hotel heiress will be locked up.

He plans to mark the occasion by trashing her CDs and books at Hilton hotels around America, and urges young fans to join him in his “celebrations”

He tells the New York Daily News: “We’re going to be throwing them in huge trash cans and getting them off the face of the Earth.

“The kinds of role models that have come to light recently in America are horrible role models.”

Dice has scheduled his protest at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on June 5.

  1. Whilst I deplore Paris Hilton’s life being vaunted, and the model she is for young people, I don’t think she should be trashed like this. It is not something to celebrate.

Sure, she probably ought to be going to prison for longer, but it’s sad that she is going at all, that her behaviour has led to such a punishment. Hopefully in prison she might have some chance to see how asteful her life is, and how many people are in prison because of the selfishness of people like herself.

Paris is in a position to help so many people, yet she chooses to be completely self indulgent. She is a knd of oracle for this age, an image of the values of the world, and suffering some punishment for her lifestyle may have some value if she learns from it. It could equally become part of her legend and something to be vaunted.

Any act of trashing her (especially by right wing christians!) is likely to lead her to reject any message Christ has for her, as well as stimulating young people to reject Him also.

  3. accountability and respect are what paris(as well as other privileged people)is lacking.i’ve read that her behaviors are not her fault;of course they are!she’s an adult living in a society with rules that everyone else must abide by,or face consequences.had she hurt or killed someone while under the influence, her situation would be quite different at present.

  4. i always wonder how dissapointed her parents must be.
she has no talent and her rise to fame has been inflenced by cheap stunts to humor the press and shitty covers of other peoples songs.
did you see george clooney recently voicing his opinions, they are all true and i think she should be named and shamed more like this……

  5. Wow, you all suck…

That’s not good enough! Instead of getting rid of her books and CDs, why not protest for her to stay in jail forever? That’ll be great!

  7. Put Bible to the trash can too. When these moralists whine against “bad role models” who seduce brats of America, brats hang on gorn (Gore+Porn=gorn) sites and bully other kids. Brats are naturally scatological and cruel.
