Rap star Foxy Brow has reportedly turned down a plea deal has decided to stand trial for charges stemming from an alleged assault incident in a beauty store, back in February of this year.
Foxy, real name Inga Marchand, appeared briefly before authorities in Florida last Friday, and refused to accept that she is the guilty party in the legal spat between her and the owner of the Queen Beauty Supply store.
The boss of the aforementioned store claims Brown threw hair glue at a store employee and spat at her when she was asked to leave the store at closing time.
Brown was charged with misdemeanor battery and obstruction of justice.
She has now been called to stand trial on September 24, and could face up to a year in jail if found guilty of the battery charges.
The rap star is currently on probation for assaulting two manicurists in Manhattan’s Bloomie Nails in 2004.
