Rapper Tony Yayo of ‘G-Unit’ fame has declined an offer for 9 months jail time for pleading guilty to attacking a 14-year-old boy. The notorious rapper allegedly hit the boy back in March and has now pleaded not guilty to charges of assault, harassment, and endangering a child. He is currently free on a $5,000 bail.
The boy in question, James Rosemond, son of Jimmy “Henchman†Rosemond who’s the manager of rapper ‘The Game’, told police that Yayo hit him “causing his face to strike the door of a building.†The boy said he suffered from a sever headache and earache.
Yayo’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, said “The prosecution’s nine month offer is one Tony vehemently rejected. It’s not even a good offer for a guilty person, and Tony denies the allegations absolutely.â€
The rap collective ‘G-Unit’ is made up of members: 50 cent, Lloyd Banks, and Young Buck.
The case has been adjourned until September 6.
