Actress Angelina Jolie reportedly left partner Brad Pitt on diaper duty while she jetted off to Iraq to visit refugees in the war torn country. Jolie, a UN Goodwill Ambassador, spent her time talking to more than 1,200 Iraqi refugees who were camped on the boarder because they could not cross.
“I have come to Syria and Iraq to help draw attention to this humanitarian crisis and to urge governments to increase their support for UNHCR and its partners,” Jolie said. “My sole purpose in both countries is to highlight the plight of those uprooted by the war in Iraq.”
Jolie headed home to her family after the brief visit on Tuesday. Meanwhile, daddy Pitt spent quality time with daughter Zahara in Central Park. The father and daughter enjoyed a carriage ride through the city and ice cream before heading over to play in the grass.
