Disney Bosses Back Vanessa Hudgens, Deny They Have Sacked Her

Bosses at Disney have denied rumors that they have fired ‘High School Musical’ star, Vanessa Hudgens from the hit TV show, after naked pictures of the star were posted online.

The 18-year-old actress’ candid mirror-image shots were intended for her boyfriend and High School Musical co-star Zac Efron’s eyes only.

But an unknown third party (allegedly actor / singer Drake Bell) stole the pictures and posted one on the internet.

Disney studios were then alleged to be firing Hudgens over the snaps, because the scandal had tarnished the teen star’s squeaky-clean image.

But a representative for the company has denied the incident will have repurcussions on future casting decisions, and insists Hudgens’ apology to fans on Friday September 7 proved her remorse.

The spokesperson said: “Vanessa has apologized for what was obviously a lapse in judgment.”

The High School Musical actors are currently busy promoting the release of High School Musical 2 on DVD with a third movie of the surprise smash hit in the pipeline.

    I don’t care if she’s done stupid things… she’s an amazing actress, the female lead-role in HSM and what she does in her personal life is up to her… everyones being rly harsh to her! Loads of teens do that… its just cos she’s famous that people actually care.

    If in hsm2 vanessa is not starring the roll of gabriella im not watching it and not interested in hsm 4eva, ppl hav to noe that becoming a celebrity is very difficulty. And people hav freedom, vanessa is also a human, so she can do watever she likes rite? We dont have to control vanessa’ s life, she can do it herself.     ok wow as disturbing as it is that she even took pictures like that, it IS her business. if anyone else in the world did that, trust me, it wouldn’t be on the news. but she’s a celebrity, so… oh well. ‘lapse in judgement’ or whatever, if drake bell really posted it on the net (which he probably did) then he’s a jerk and should be the one being bashed, not vanessa. she did something really stupid and gross, but i think she meant for it to only be seen by zac… which is still really gross but WHO CARES…
