Kylie Minogue is reportedly set to launch a world tour when she turns 40 next year.

According to The Sun newspaper,  Kylie and pal William Baker have already started working on ideas for the tour which will kick off days after she hits her landmark on May 28.

Baker told the publication (at the Leicester Square premiere of Kylie’s new film): “I am so busy. I’m heading back into the studio with Kylie in February to start training for the tour we want to do in June.

“It’s going to be fabulous. I have a couple of ideas but they need a bit of work. It takes ages to pull it all together so we want to take our time on it.

“And we have a musical film we are working on with Denise Van Outen, set in 1950s’ Soho. And of course I have Rent which I am directing. Kylie has helped me on that too.”

Kylie’s boyfriend when the movie (‘ White Diamond’) was made, Olivier Martinez  makes also makes a brief appearance near the end.

But, although Olivier dumped Kylie – she only has nice things to say about him”

Kylie said: “When he wasn’t there, there was an Ollie-shaped hole in my life. Ollie was amazing, really supportive.

“He was with me when I was diagnosed. I’ve learnt that when the going gets tough that’s when you learn a lot about people.

“I can’t tell people enough how amazing he was. He was great through that period and in getting me back on stage when I had doubts. He really helped me.”
