American boyband Backstreet Boys are striving for a ‘Take That’ style comeback success, according to reports today. The band most known for their original line-up in the 1990s which included Keith Richardson (who is now attending to his very young son) will be returning with triumph, or so says the lead singer. He credited the comeback of British boyband Take That, led by Gary Barlow.
The Backstreet Boys’ Brian Litrell says, “I was happy for Take That when they came back out. I was a fan of theirs when we first came to Europe. We did a TV show with them one time and Gary Barlow and the guys were on stage. They sang, ‘Never Forget where you’re coming from.’ It was awesome”.
“They had the choir up there, doing what they wanted to do, they’re talented guys. Hopefully pending a good record and a good tour, people will come back to us again too”.
