Heather Mills hits out at Charlotte Church over jibes about her missing leg

Heather MillsHeather Mills is reportedly furious with Welsh singer Charlotte Church – after Charlotte, 21, made jokes about her missing leg.

Heather complained: ‘Celebrities on TV have joked about my disability – Charlotte Church did a joke about it on her show.’

‘It was so offensive to amputees and I got so many emails.’

Heather has also claimed that Church’s comments were distressing to disabled children.

She told Hello magazine: ‘The next day, kids at school who are amputees were crying because children in the playground joked about their leg.

39-year-old Heather stresses that making fun of her disability is just not acceptable.

‘It’s very hurtful, and I just won’t have it,’ she insists.

‘You try having your leg chopped off by a police motorcycle and overcoming it.’

    I have to say very well said. I wish Sir Paul can take a chapter out of Heather Book. It is wrong for anyone to say those rude comments. Charlotte Church shame on you.

    Absolute nonsense. I seriously doubt young kids were watching Charlotte Church’s show because it is on well after the watershed. But hey – why not criticise everyone for having a go about her disability and why not make it worse by talking about the impact on all those poor little kids?

    I don’t believe for a minute that what she is saying about the kids is true although she is right to take issue with people joking about the fact that she lost PART of a leg.
