Duran Duran back with a controversial new video

Duran DuranDuran Duran are BACK with a controversial new video for new single, ‘Falling Down.’

The 80s legends can be seen bursting into a full-band performance in front of a scantily clad audience of models in rehab.

The video reportedly had to be re-shot in Los Angeles, after it was banned in the UK for being too controversial – yet it still depicts the dark world of rehabilitation.

A spokesperson for Duran Duran told how they had been forced to show a new tamer version, so it would receive airplay.

But singer Simon Le Bon is disappointed that the video had to be re-made.

He said; “The concept of models in rehab has so much to do with what the song’s about. It’s very sad, but there’s kind of a beauty in it as well”

Duran Duran’s new album, Red Carpet Massacre is due out November 12 in Europe and the UK and a day later in the US.

It features collaborations with red-hot producer of the minute Timbaland and singer Justin Timberlake.

During the past three decades, Duran Duran have clocked up more than 85 million in record sales.

You can watch the video here – it’s actually a really good song!
