Nancy Shevell laughs off rumours she is planning to marry Paul McCartney

Paul McCartney’s new girlfriend, Nancy Shevell, has laughed off rumors she is planning to wed the Beatles legend.
Millionaire socialite Shevell was asked if she was going to walk down the aisle with Macca now their romance has been made public.
She told a US newspaper: “No, please!”
Asked if she had any comment on her relationship with 65-year-old McCartney, she said: “No, I’m so sorry.”
Shevell, 47, is a member of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority [MTA] board.
She had been at a meeting for thepublic transport board in Manhattan, New York, on Wednesday when she was quizzed about her private life.
The married mother-of-one hit headlines when she was photographed smooching McCartney earlier this month.
Shevell is legally separated from husband Bruce Blakeman.
McCartney and Shevell were spotted at a sushi restaurant and outside a caf? earlier this month, in the Hamptons, according to reports.
He was also said to have bought gifts for her at a local lingerie store.
A spokesman for McCartney, who is in the middle of a bitter divorce with second wife, Heather Mills, has declined to comment on the relationship.
Both McCartney and Shevell have homes in the Hamptons.
She was appointed to the MTA Board by former New York Governor George Pataki in 2001.
