Lance Armstrong has hit out at reports he is dating actress Ashley Olsen – who is 15 years his junior.
The cycling champion insisted he is just pals with the millionaire starlet.
The pair had been romantically linked after being spotted at several parties in New York. But cancer survivor Armstrong said there was nothing more to his relationship with the 21-year-old than friendship.
The 36-year-old said: “Ashley Olsen and I are strictly friends.
“We have hung out amongst other friends, and she strikes me as a nice, smart lady.”
Meanwhile, Armstrong’s ex-girlfriend, Sheryl Crow, has blasted reports that she was upset by the supposed romance.
Crow, 45, wrote on her blog: “Lance and I are friends. I have a lot of respect for him and what he does in the world of cancer.
“What he does in his personal life is none of my business. Nor would I ever comment on it.”
Olsen rose to fame as a child actress in the States alongside twin sister, Mary-Kate.
