I was distressed to read this very disturbing article about Tiger Lily and the ongoing feud that is literally tearing families apart. Michael absolutely loved children and as someone who knew him and understood the machinations of the female members of his family he would say "Enough". I am worried about any life story about Michael that capitalises upon Michael's representation as a careless artist with the morals of an alley cat, he was a human being with faults but gifts as well. Lets not forget that little Tiger is still a child and should have her childhood in peace. Mr Geldof's adoption may appear insipid but someone must take legal custody of her so someone does not do things for her interest without her interests at heart. A name change is a formality and would help to protect her privately from back handed but highly directed accusations about any connection between her behaviour and that of her father's. I am sure with the media circus and public squabbling over her continues she will never forget her father. Patricia and Tina are still greiving like Michael's death was yesterday because whilst the feud continues so publically Michael can never rest in peace or his family and friends get some peace too. For Gods sake end it so we can all get over his tragic death. We loved him and as someone who he adored and I him I must speak for him because no one else is. Tiger is with her sisters and much loved but whatever happens Tina and Patricia should just keep communicating with her as best you can by letter, parcel or carrier pigeon.Love is universally understood. As Tiger grows up and seeks a consciousnesss about herself she will naturally seek out her father's family. My heart aches for the pain that everyone involved feels. Pace in memorium Michael.

Kids don't talk the way she says the kid talks. You want to see her move to friggin England and sit outside his flipping home. That would be true interest in seeing the kid, all she's doing is getting the buzz out about the movie. Sir Bob rock

getting custody of Tiger. She has lost both her biological mother and father, which is a tragedy. Being raised with her 3 sisters, although they only share one parent, not only allows her to be with people who understand the loss of a parent, they share the loss of the same parent, making an even more solid bond.
As for all of you (Michael's family) having contact with Tiger, I DO agree that too is important, but I'm thinking they're's more to this story than is being told. In cases like this it's important to stay focused on the child and most likely bite your tongue lots, no matter how hard that is. I realize it's important to *you* that Tiger realizes her dad is Michael Hutchence, however having never met her, I'm also willing to bet she is an extremely intellegent little girl and if the subject was never brought up again and her name was legally changed to 789 etc she would still know who her biological parents are. That said all the adults in her life need to get along, for her, gain each other's trust and be one big family. I realize this is easier said than done, I've been there and had to do this already and as hard as it was at first, I wouldn't change it now.

thinking it was a book about Michael Hutchence, but finding out it was actually a book about how one greedy sister and one selfish mom can rewrite the wrongs of their history to make it look like it has always been the world against their perfect, caring, giving selves, I think Tiger Lily could not be in a safer place than she is with Bob. There was so many unneeded random digs on everybody Tina and Patricia didn't like, with Tiger's mom Paula getting the most, they have no business being around Tiger unsupervised. Regardless of what they thought of Paula that is Tiger's mother. If there's nothing nice to say, then say nothing... show some respect. Tiger is their grand daughter/niece. I'm sure she'll love reading about how much Michael wanted nothing to do with Paula, but was in love with the mystery girl "Blair" the one nobody knew about but Patricia and Tina, who's letters were the exact same writing style and wording as how Tina writes...hmmmm....or the pages about the wine glass they happened to notice was missing, all that where's the wine glass, I must replace that...drama just to lead to the part about Paula using it to take a pregnancy test. Subtle dig, after subtle dig on everyone, no wonder Michael and the other INXS members had a warning code for when Patricia had shown up. I was almost as sickened by those writings as I was Tina using Tiger's name to invent an Ebay ID and sell off personal writings of Michael's. Let's not forget the auctions were originally written under the impression it was old out of control Rhett listing them until she messed up when selling a Bob Geldorf book. I believe the quote was "bought while I was researching my book Just a Man on my brother Michael Hutchence”....OOOOPS...atleast it got pulled quickly once that little error was called to her attention... way to treat your only brother that's still living!
best wishes for Rhett and his family, Tiger, Bob and his other 3 gorgeous girls.
