This is proof that Mel B has become America’s newest sweetheart – on the small screen.
The sexy Dancing with the Stars contestant is the main cover girl on US entertainment bible the TV Guide – and for the sought after Thanksgiving double issue.
Her curves hugged by a slinky white gown she leans back into her partner’s arm and kicks one leg up in the air, striking a confident pose.
Mum of two Melanie Brown has every right to feel good because she is one of the favourites to win the US version of Strictly Come Dancing.
According to TV Guide, 32-year-old Melanie Brown is known as “The Feisty Kitten” on the popular show.
Wiping the floor with the competition on Dancing with the Stars she is also practising for the upcoming Spice Girls reunion tour – all this just months after giving birth to her second daughter Angel Iris in April.
It has helped the young mum to whip her post-pregnancy body into shape. She says: “I’ve really toned up. The funny thing is my bum has gotten bigger, I think because of all of the dancing.”
Her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy agrees that Mel B’s shape has rapidly changed. He says: “One of her dressers for the Spice Girls was checking her measurements and said: ‘This can’t be right. Somebody must have measured wrong’.
“All the measurements were too big”
Chmerkovskiy is also impressed with his partner’s talent. He says that she is a quick study who picked up the rumba “in an hour and a half.”
Mel B says her secret is to pay close attention to the professional female dancers.
She learns by “mimicking the finer points. I’ll look at the way they place their hands and say: ‘Oh, I must remember to do that’.”
Judge Len Goodman sings the Spice Girl’s praise saying: “Her strength is that she’s equally good in ballroom and Latin.”
But he is concerned that with the upcoming reunion tour she is stretching herself to the limits.
Goodman says: “Her weakness is that she does the least practice of all the couples.
“She can’t do six hours a week and pull it off.”
Mel’s competition in the final next week includes singer Marie Osmond, 48.
