WRESTLING legend Hulk Hogan is being divorced by his wife Linda, according to US reports.

The Hulkster, who originally reached fame in the 1980s, regained popularity in recent years thanks to his family-based reality TV show Hogan Knows Best.

But it would seem there were problems bubbling underneath the clan’s jovial and united faade.

The family had recently moved from Miami Beach to Clearwater, Florida, amid local rumours of marital trouble.

Their move was hit by a theft of over GBO50k as they packed up their belongings and soon after they were rocked by a car crash which saw a family friend fighting for his life and son Nick charged with reckless driving.

According to police, the 17-year-old had been street racing his high-powered sports-car when it spun out of control and smashed into a tree at “excessive” speeds.

His passenger John Graziano has been left with severe brain injuries and is now incapacitated. Nick’s driving license was this week suspended.

Now, just days after the family released a statement saying Graziano should have been wearing a seatbelt, it seems the couple are headed for the divorce court.

Court documents from Pinellas County Court, in Florida, reportedly show that Linda Marie Bollea has filed for divorce from Terry Gene Bollea, Hulk Hogan’s real name.

No reasons are indicated in the papers, according to gossip website TMZ.com.

As well as son Nick, the couple a daughter, Brooke, whose attempt at a music career has often been the subject of ridicule in the US media.

Hogan, who has also acted in films and released rock records, was recently named the new host for next year’s revived television show American Gladiators.

He entered the World Wrestling Entertainment’s Hall of Fame in 2005 and is ‘officially’ a 12-time wrestling champion.
