The Spice Girls put on a breathtaking performance in Canada, according to reports, to reestablish themselves as the ‘Best in the Business’. One of the most highly anticipated comebacks have really lived up to its hype.
More than 15,000 Canadians crowded round a glamorous stage home to four brilliantly dressed stars with a host of male dancers for their routines.
The dresses by popular Italian designer Robert Cavalli made Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown and Emma Bunton look absolutely irresistable, that’s even Mel B, the scary one.
The group changed costumes an amazing 22 times in the two hour special and they made the biggest frenzy of the night when they wore costumes that represented ones of the height of their fame, like Geri Halliwell’s Union Jack…shame she’s ginger.
A fan told The Times: “I can’t believe I am here but it was so worth it.
“I’ve never seen them live before so it’s great for me that they did this tour. It has been a life long dream of mine.
“I was crying for the first half hour of the show, and I paid a fortune for my ticket but if they come on tour again I would spend it again. They were just fantastic.”
They started with ‘Spice Up Your Life’ and ended with ‘Wanabee’, with an amazing 20 new tracks as well as their other hits. Imagine it. What a night.
